Veslebui is a cosy little mountain cabin, perfect for those looking for a simple and authentic mountain experience. The cabin has electricity, a practical kitchenette and fantastic views of Lake Tyin, which can be enjoyed directly from both the dining area and the living space. The cabin combines dining, seating and sleeping areas in one open room. It accommodates up to 3 guests, but is most comfortable for 2 adults or a small family. The kitchenette is equipped for simple meal preparation and includes a hot plate, kettle, refrigerator and essential cooking equipment. Please note that there is no running water in the cabin. Bathrooms, toilets, showers and dishwashing facilities are available in our shared service building, located just 50 metres from the cabin. Duvets and pillows are provided. Guests may bring their own bed linen or rent it for NOK 150 per person. Veslebui is located above the tree line, surrounded by open mountain landscapes, spectacular views, fresh mountain air and excellent hiking opportunities right outside the door.

New cabin with high standards in quiet surroundings. Located at the end of a cabin field with no transit traffic, it's just as good for families as it is for the group of friends. There is a car road all the way up to the cabin throughout the year, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for trips in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter, there is a cross country trail just behind the cabin, and you can go on an alpine ski just outside the cabin door and run to the ski resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. Lots of hiking opportunities in both summer and winter right from the door. About 1 km skiing through the forest to the trail network to Skeikampen. The cabin sleeps 5, plus crib, equipped kitchen, heat pump, wood-burning stove and dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen and towels incl. Must have 4x4 in winter. 15 min to city center and Skeikampen, 30 min to Lillehammer and 45 min to Hunderfossen.

This place is suitable for everyone, whether it's a family on a trip, for friends who are going to go on mountain trips, fishing or hiking in the mountains. Skjåk is a perfect starting point for this. Check-in after 4 pm. Check-out at 12 pm.
