The cabin contains a hallway, storage room with drying facilities, four bedrooms, bright and airy living room with open kitchen solution and dining room. Big loft with walking height! Panoramic views of Savalsjøen, Gråvola and Rødalshøa. The cabin has a large patio and pitch, as well as a detached new sauna.

To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 min. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer a trough tour and cross-country skiing instruction in winter, please contact us if you are interested.

Østerdalsstue at Kvebergshaugen

The house is located on a farm with sheep and dog, next to the house where we live ourselves. The farm is located about 4 km south of Alvdal city centre and there is a short distance to both hiking areas and fishing opportunities. The house is a restored oyster valley living room from the 1800s, and the kitchen is well equipped (including microwave, kettle, coffee maker, press pot and dishwasher). Cleaning fee of 300 kr covers only the preparation of the rental unit and not the final cleaning.

En times kjøretur fra Lillehammer ligger Viken Fjellgård ved innsjøen Espedalsvatnet. Og om man ønsker å hygge seg inne med fyr i ovnen, noe varmt å drikke, en god bok eller et spill, eller om man vil ut på ski, gå en tur på truger, en sparktur, isfiske, brenne bål, lage snøhule og snølykt, eller bare se på stjernene, så kan dette være stedet. Her er det milevis med preparerte skiløyper. Løypene begynner rett utenfor gården, eller man kan kjøre et lite stykke for å starte turen på høyfjellet.

For those who really want to experience the best Helgøya has to offer. Villa Leonore is a summerhouse built for Tram Director Dybwad's wife Leonore in 1915. A cozy garden leads down to its own beach at Mjøsa. Lovely perennial bed and a private kitchen garden to prepare in. You can relax on the porch with a good book, and cook delicious local and organic food, with the farm and area's own produce. There are great hiking opportunities at Helgøya, for walking, running and biking.
