The cabin is located at Viken Fjellgård, an hour from Lillehammer, right by the idyllic Espedalsvatnet, 720 metres above sea level, and Langsua National Park. Here you can enjoy peace and quiet, swim, paddle, visit mines, or go for walks. It is a short distance to the high mountains with many hiking opportunities, or you can walk from the farm along the water, on trails in the woods and fields. There is a cosy outdoor area with a fire pit on the jetty by the boathouse, and there is a swimming beach on the other side. Our guests can use our two boats and canoe freely, and we lend out two fishing rods.

Strandheim, pantry in a farm environment in Lesja

The farm Strandheim is located 532 meters above sea level in Kjøremsgrende, in the very south of the mountain village Lesja. The farm produces milk and meat and is located in quiet surroundings with beautiful nature, wildlife and mountains. The river Lågen in the immediate vicinity offers great opportunities for swimming and fly fishing in our zone. Short distance to Dovrefjell and Dombås, among others. You have the storage room for yourself. We now offer breakfast baskets with everything you need for a good start to the day. NOK 125 per person. Must be ordered the day before by 7 pm

Cottage by mountains and water near Sjusjøen/Lillehammer

Cozy decor and well equipped with good beds, kitchen, bathroom and shower. To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 mins. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. We offer sleigh rides and ski instruction on cross-country skiing in the winter, please contact us if you are interested.

Cabin at Gålå - Gudshaugen

New cabin built in 2023, with immediate proximity to Gålå Ski Resort, with alpine slopes and cross-country trails. 5-10 min walk to Høyt og Lavt Gålå (climbing park), alpine facilities, cross-country trails right outside the door and 5 min walk to Peer-Gynt play. This cabin is perfect for friends, families with children, and has 2 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms as well as a living room and kitchen. There are 3 double beds, 1 bunk bed and 1 single bed. Outside you have a lovely view from the terrace with a cozy fire pit and seating.

Isa eye

Are you visiting the mighty Romsdalen and want a unique experience where a little bit of comfort meets raw, Norwegian nature? Now you have the chance. Enjoy a cup of coffee with a view of high peaks, starry skies and the morning sun that wishes both you and the wildlife, which is close by, a good day. The dome is undisturbed and idyllically located just off the salmon river Isa. Here you will find a seating area, fire pit and sun loungers. Idyllic annex in scenic surroundings, with stunning views of Hallingdal. The annex is located by itself on the outskirts of the farm. Great hiking possibilities in both summer and winter. Distance to Solseter with marked trails is 1 km. Golsfjellet is 10 km away. The cabin consists of a kitchen with wood stove +2 hobs, bathroom with shower and toilet, loft and living room with double sofa bed. Heated with wood and electricity. It is possible to rent bed linen set for NOK 75 per set. Private parking outside the cabin.

Today you are welcome to wake up in uniquely restored and protected timber houses in the heart of living cultural landscapes, mountain homes and farms. Bellestugu is a beautiful, historic farmhouse on Lesja. Restored and set up as part of the courtyard at Brendjordsbyen in 2021.

The summer barn at Hovelsrud, Helgøya

The old summer barn at Hovelsrud Farm is idyllically located between Mjøsa and a rolling cornfield – a simple and unique place for those who want to get close to nature and enjoy the tranquillity of Helgøya. The house is best suited for a couple or a small family with up to two children. Inside there is a bedroom and an open-plan living room. Outside there is a kitchen counter, with a gas burner and barbecue, a small beach where you can swim, and an outdoor toilet. There is no electricity.
