Oasis on the countryside near Hamburg

Northwest of Hamburg in the beautiful Schleswig Holstein lies our lovingly furnished 48 sqm apartment with terrace and garden. There is a kitchen with a stove, oven and fridge, a shower bathroom and bedroom with double bed and TV. In the immediate vicinity is a small lake. The rural quiet location is ideal for a break, bike tours and inline skating, but also offers a good starting point for trips to the North Sea and Baltic Sea or to Hamburg, Kiel and Glückstadt.

Horst's time out

Meine Auszeit Horst stands for real picture-book country life. There are cows, chickens, donkeys and fields nearby. And the peace and quiet, of course. The Elbe and the dyke can be reached in 15-20 min. by car. Here you can expect a real beach and a delicious snack and matching refreshment in summer. You can also reach Hamburg in 30 minutes. In about 3 km. distance is the Horster train station. There is a car park and bicycle parking spaces here.

The 60 sqm apartment is located in the attic of a detached house in a quiet cul-de-sac location in the outskirts of Hamburg. I live on the ground floor. A supermarket is a 10-minute walk away, and the nearest bus stop is 3 minutes away. By bus and train or by car, you can reach Hamburg in about 40 minutes. The apartment offers 3 bedrooms, a large bathroom, a kitchen-living room and a spacious hallway. Stable fiber optic network is available.

Furnished apartment in a quiet blind alley

Our apartment is located in the beautiful Alten Land, near the Lühe pier (about 15min walk over the dike). Stade, Finkenwerder, Buxtehude and Hamburg (45min.) are easily accessible by car. But also as a day trip by bike to explore well. You will love my accommodation because of the scenic location, the proximity to the water and the city of Hamburg. My accommodation is good for couples, solo travelers and business travelers

Swallow's nest

At the end of a short cul-de-sac, lies the house of the hosts of the small apartment, which has been built at right angles to the house. So I found the name "Swallow's Nest" just right for the small, cozy and quiet apartment. It can be reached via its own separate entrance at ground level from the carport parking lot. On sunny days, breakfast at the goldfish and water lily pond in a very specially landscaped garden.

Enjoy the peace of mind at this charming thatched-roof home. The A23 exit Elmshorn-Horst is only 5 minutes away – Hamburg's center can be reached in 30 minutes, the airport in 20. For excursions, the coasts of the North Sea and Baltic Sea are just an hour away. We, your hosts, live in the adjoining house and will be happy to assist you. Quiet and centrally located accommodation in the historic half-timbered building from 1746. The building is a listed building and is the oldest residential building in Barmstedt. The entire place is at your disposal, including kitchen and private bathroom with shower.
