The magical view of the world below with the coast on the horizon which can be enjoyed from every room of the house and from the entire olive orchard with its walking paths and plunge pool with waterfall. Being a pedestrian village, Metato is quiet and peaceful. Yet, the beach and many great places to visit are a short drive away- Pisa, Florence, Lucca, the marble quarries of Cararra, Pietrasanta, Viareggio.... Guests have exclusive access to the pool and property. Metato is a friendly litttle village in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There is a quaint family-run restaurant in the village that serves local homemade dishes at a very reasonable price. Our pedestrian village tends to attract kind people in search of peace and quiet and a proximity with nature. Time seems to go by more slowly here. It is a perfect base for families who want to explore Tuscany and the beaches of the Versilia coast. The home is in a beautiful, quiet location on a hill surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards just a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Explore the medieval village of Metato where fireflies and breathtaking views await. Take an invigorating hike or head to the beaches a short drive away. There is a parking lot at the base of the village where you can park the car. The village itself is pedestrian but I am happy to greet guests at the parking lot on their arrival to transport their luggage, groceries and whoever wants to ride to the house with my little Italian tractor! The nearest airport is Pisa (45-minutes by car). All the major car rental places can be found there. The nearest train station is Viareggio.

Small Tuscan farmhouse.

The small Tuscan cottage is located in a small historic village 3 minutes from the center of Camaiore at the foot of the Apuan Alps, in 10 minutes you can reach the sea and the house is located between Pisa Lucca and the Cinque Terre. The house consists of a living room with a kitchen and a comfortable sofa bed, and upstairs there is the double bedroom, the bedroom with a cot for children and the bathroom. The house is equipped with a smart TV, toaster, 4-burner stove, electric oven, iron, washing machine.

"Le Casette" holiday home

Le Casette is located about 600m above sea level, immersed in the tranquillity of an authentic small village on a high hill above Metato, with a breathtaking view that stretches from the Apuan Alps to the sea. The last 1.5 km are a scenic, narrow and steep route through the countryside, which can only be travelled by compact 4x4s, so you'll find absolute peace here. For your convenience, the owner provides a Fiat Panda 4x4, to be used exclusively from the house to the Metato car park and back.

The house is located in Montebello, a 10-minute walk from the historic center of Camaiore. With its cafes, restaurants, shops you can take beautiful walks or mountain bike along the Via Francigena or along the paths of the Camaioresi hills. It is a 19th-century farmhouse recently renovated respecting the historical features with wooden beams and terracotta floors. The villa is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards and has a swimming pool (12x6) with salt water, a quiet place to spend a peaceful vacation.

Here various structures have been designed by the Architect Stefano Viviani, who has realized In each of them, a very refined style respectful to the place.
