We have renovated our farmhouse with knowledge of building maintenance, the environment and sustainability.The beautiful colors of egg oil tempera adorn the walls, and genuine linseed oil paint is a given in a house from the late 19th century.Nice tiled stoves warm up nicely and the kitchen is large and spacious In winter, there are nice conditions for cross-country skiing and downhill skiing at Romme alpine. An approximately 8 km long skating rink is plowed on our lake with a connection approximately 100 meters from the farm.The house is located close to the towns of Falun and Borlänge.

In winter, it's a paradise with ice skating on the lake, cross-country ski trails in Gyllbergen, and just 10 minutes to Romme Alpin's 31 slopes. Ulvsbo, where family and friends can spend time together, relax and create memories.

The location is central in Borlänge – within walking distance to both ICA Maxi, the city center, restaurants and shops. For ski lovers, Romme Alpin is only 15 minutes away by car.

Also, many other beautiful sights and nature reserves are nearby, such as Gyllbergen, the Silver Ring Tourist Trail. Possibility to rent bicycles, canoe, kayak and wood-fired sauna. And we will be happy to share our favorite places with you:)

House for rent in the scenic Grängshammar, Silvberg, Säters kommun, 18 km from Borlänge. Located within the "Silver Ring" which is a cultural historical route through the history of silver and iron. Newly built and fresh house with 5 beds in unoccupied position. Close to swimming, fishing and forest. Romme Alpin takes about 15 minutes by car (13 km) from the south (so you don't have to queue). It is a perfect starting point for excursions in Dalarna, and in winter, Romme Alpin is 13 minutes away. If you like cross-country skiing, Gyllbergen offers low-mountain-like nature. Locally, you can take a walk/run in Smäcken or Frostbrunnsdalen, explore the spring streams, take a ride on the river, or a dip, or visit the ostriches a bike ride away. Welcome to a newly built house on its own lake plot with magical views! In summer, you can enjoy swimming and sun from your own jetty and borrow a rowing boat, SUP and wood-fired hot tub. In the fall, you pick berries and mushrooms directly outside the house. In winter, it is about 13 minutes to Romme Alpin. When there is ice on the lake, you can ice skate and take lovely walks. There is a sauna and fireplace with access to wood for frozen ski enthusiasts.
