Its a wonderful base to explore the South Downs by foot or bike, or visit the antique shops of Petworth, Petworth House, polo in Midhurst, West Dean Gardens, Parham House, motor & horse racing at Goodwood.

16th century Grade 2 listed cottage on a quiet street in Petworth, a beautiful market town famous for its cobbled streets and numerous antique/homeware shops, in the heart of the South Downs. The cottage is furnished to a high standard, retaining period features and quirky charm. The cosy layout makes it ideal for couples/solo travellers. You’ll find bars, pubs, restaurants, delis and antique/homeware shops on the doorstep, and Petworth House and park (a National Trust property) is 2-mins away.

Hand built by myself & Granny Mongolia, the Yurt is a mix of traditional Mongolian design & bohemian chic. As you enter the yurt you will instantly notice a sense of calm & grounding, an ideal retreat from a hectic lifestyle. Surrounded by countryside, the yurt is home to many Mongolian artefacts gifted to me by Granny Mongolia. It features a charcoal bbq & stove. The Cottage at Grittenham Farm is a beautifully restored 17th Century milking parlour. It contains a lovely open-plan living room and kitchenette area, a stylish double bedroom and a luxury bathroom. Gorgeous gardens to relax in. Situated at the foot of the South Downs, perfect for lovely walks. The River Rother is 10 minutes on foot and offers magical wild swimming. Close by are picturesque towns of Petworth, Midhurst & Arundel, while the beaches of the South Coast are a 30 minute drive.

Welcome to our shepherds hut, for a touch of glamping in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Perfectly situated for walkers and cyclists as we are right on the South Downs Way and a short drive for Goodwood events. A cosy retreat with scenic views across the Downs, beautiful sunsets, starry skies and passing wildlife. There is a toilet and shower facility. A kettle, mini fridge and teas, coffees, milk, cereals are included in the hut. An electric heater keeps it nice an cosy.

The SHED is ideally located in the beautiful West Sussex countryside just outside the South Downs National Park and a short drive from the coastThere are lovely walking and cycling routes straight from the door. We are well situated for trips to Goodwood ,Fontwell and Cowdray Park.The towns of Guildford,Brighton ,Chichester,Arundel and Petworth are all nearby. Well behaved dogs are welcome on leads as there is no fenced area. A travel cot for babies is available.but bedding not provided
