In Love with Alfama with Private Patio

Throw open the windows and let a soft breeze glide through this calm, radiant apartment. Sprawl out on a leather couch and find your center amid modern furnishings and vaulted ceilings. Move to the romantic, rose-colored patio for drinks at sundown. This apartment disposes an Internet service with the following features: INTERNET SPEED: Download: 100 Mbs Upload: 100 Mbs Type: FTTH We fell in love with Alfama and want you to experience it - that's why we want to share our house with you and why we will give you all the nice tips. Be careful, you may fall in love with it too! About the house: it's a BEAUTIFUL 60 sqm apartment in the 2nd floor of a 2 floor building. The apartment was fully renovated in June 2017 (BRAND NEW). It's modern, comfortable and cosy, and will allow you to enjoy Lisbon's mythic light! It's ideal for a couple. Spacious living room equipped with 32'' smart TV and comfortable separate bedroom with 160cm wide double bed. Air conditioning in both living room and bedroom and high speed Wi-Fi. Linen and towels are provided. Kitchen is well equipped with nespresso machine, toaster, electric jug, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. Basics to cook like olive oil, vinegar, salt and sugar are also available. There is an iron and ironing board as well. In the bathroom, you’ll find a hair dryer (a nice one :)), toilet paper and shower gel. Charming small private patio where you can start your day with a nice breakfast, have a glass of wine or just relax. The flat was fully decorated by me and my husband Ricky and we manage it ourserlves. Price for 2 people using the ALL the house; includes the PRIVATE patio and you can use the entire home services: Kitchen, Living Room etc. You will get the keys from us personally, and we will provide you extra information about Lisbon and Alfama neighborhood. We stay reachable during all your stay. :) The apartment is in an area that's full of history and truly represents the heart of traditional Lisbon. Stroll around its narrow streets to discover little cafes, restaurants, Fado houses, and trendy shops that make up this vibrant neighborhood. A stop for the 28 Tram is just 4min away and Santa Apolónia (metro and train station) and Terreiro do Paço (metro station) are both a 7 min walk from the house. The street is in a limited traffic zone - only taxis and residents can enter. If you wish to come by car, you can park at Largo Terreiro do Trigo, less then 100m from the building. Transfers between the airport and the apartment it’s as extra service - please let us know if are interested. A baby cot is available upon request - please let us know if you'll need it. The Popular Saints Festival is celebrated throughout June in Portugal. The festival in Lisbon is celebrated primarily on the 12th and 13th of June, in memory of Saint Anthony. Across Lisbon's historical neighborhoods you will see colorful decorations, food stalls and live stages to listen to music. As we are situated in the heart of Alfama, during the month of June, specially the 12th, more animation is expected in the streets that surround the apartment and the area will be much more crowded and noisy during this day.

Beautifully Restored Cottage on Patio in Historic Center A

Patio São Vicente is a collection of restored artisan cottages surrounding a peaceful courtyard, hidden away in the historical center of the city. The cottages of “Patio São Vicente” have been completely restored respecting the original architecture yet designed with a modern aesthetic by Paratelier architects. Using Portuguese artisans and designers, the interiors are cosy, comfortable and carefully crafted with custom carpentry. The 13th century original wall of Lisbon the “Muralha Fernandina” is integrated into the back wall of each of the living rooms. Patio São Vicente is tucked away in the corner of the Telheiro do Sao Vicente square in a private Patio. The cottages of “Patio São Vicente” have been completely restored respecting the original architecture yet designed with a modern aesthetic by Paratelier architects. Using Portuguese artisans and designers, the interiors are cosy, comfortable and carefully crafted with custom carpentry. The buildings are of historic importance. The 13th century original wall of Lisbon the “Muralha Fernandina” is integrated into the back wall of each of the living rooms. The corner turret is visible from the courtyard and can be accessed by the garden of one the apartments. You can sit in the quiet, shady patio at your own table, the perfect work or rest space after a long day’s sightseeing. The patio is a natural space for groups, friends or extended families to gather and enjoy time together, while still having the privacy of their own houses. “Casinha A" is divided over 2 floors, the ground floor with a full open kitchen, dining area, wood panelled living room with large sofa-bed and a spacious light filled bathroom with a large cement bath-tub. The upstairs bedroom is a peaceful space perfect for a good night sleep, sheltered with the “muralha” and completed with custom storage. Victor Lopes The patio is perfectly situated for discovering the city by foot, located in one of the most visited areas of Lisbon. Positioned in front of the majestic tenth century Mosteiro do Sao Vicente de Fora, next to the pantheon, Alfama and the infamous “Feira da Ladra” the twice weekly fair of the thieves makes São Vicente one of the most vibrant and busy meeting places in Lisbon. A 5 minute walk to Graca will also bring you to the two miradouros where you can have the best view of whole of Lisbon. The 28 tram is steps away. This historical neighborhood of Lisbon is well suited for exploring by foot. Like most old parts of historical cities, access to the patio can be difficult for those with mobility issues. To get to the "secret" patio you need to walk up a steep ramp but the view of the church and river is worth it!

Great apartment for 4 people, fully renovated with a big terrace and tremendous views towards the Pantheon and Tagus river. You will enjoy having your breakfast in the sun. The apartment is on the 3rd and last floor, located in Graça, it is the perfect place to start a city tour with the famous tram 28 just 200 meters away. Very quiet street and building, within walking distance to historic sites and old city.
