This is a quirky, charming Irish cottage near Goleen in the heart of West Cork. Close to magnificent beaches, restaurants, west cork trails, Mizen head, water sports and many other activities. With the most beautiful vistas and the village of Goleen within a couple of minutes drive. The cottage is situated on private grounds near my house where i grow vegetables and keep chickens. This property would be suitable for a couple, family with kids that can sleep on a loft or a writers retreat.

The house is located high on the mountain – alone. With clear visibility, you have a breathtaking view. You will experience peaceful silence. But it can also happen that the house and its surroundings are swallowed up by fog, that the wind howls around the house and the rain whips against the windows!!! Always a fascinating natural spectacle awaits you in the interplay of sea and clouds and the elements and on clear nights a sky strewn with sparkling stars - and still real darkness!
