Everyone is WELCOME at our farm, the small Punihof in Mals! Although we only speak German, a little Italian and Swiss German, but we also make a great effort to communicate with guests who speak other languages! We practice nature-appropriate breeding of fattening cattle and pigs. Our home is located at about 1100 m, a little off the beaten track surrounded by meadows, forest, stream, mountains, almost like on an alpine pasture !! :) Relaxation, tranquility, animals and the almost untouched nature here! :)

Are you looking for tranquility, proximity to nature and want to wake up with a stunning view of the Münster Valley? Then you've come to the right place at Egghof. The Egghof is the only farm in the Münster Valley to be awarded the "ERBHOF" seal of quality. This means that the farm has been family-owned for over 200 years. The Egghof is located at 1700 m above sea level. In addition to the family of six, goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, cats, a dog and a couple of cute rodents live on the farm.

Located not far from the city wall, you will find the house with a spacious garden and parking. Just a few meters away, you can walk through one of the three city gates and go directly to the charming medieval town, with its approximately 900 inhabitants. The municipality of Taufers (Italian: Tubre) is located in the lower Münstertal at an altitude of about 1,250 m. The Münstertal is a side valley of the Vinschgau in the far west of South Tyrol, right on the Italian-Swiss border to the canton of Grisons. The area is great for hiking, mountain biking, cycling, skiing or cross-country skiing.

In front of us stretches the entire Etschtal, a spectacle at any time of the day or night, and Merano and Tyrol Castle are at our feet. A perfect starting point for hikes and beautiful walks.
