We live in the main house and are available if you have any questions. Guests will have access to the cottage and barbecue area in the garden. Parking, WiFi, A/C and cleaning included. Bed linens & towels can be rented for SEK 50/person Travel bed for children & high chair can be borrowed. Good to know: The main property where the host family lives has a doorbell with a camera.

The cottage is located right by Testeboån, about 2 meters from the veranda. It is possible to both swim and fish, or sit in the sunset and look out on the water. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need for a stay. Wi-Fi, TV and parking are included. It is possible to borrow a washing machine, charge an electric car or rent the sauna, for a small fee. If you want to visit Gävle, there are bike paths, or you can take the bus from the bus stop, which is within 200 meters. During the summer, we sell vegetables.

The villa is located 4 km from Storsjöns pearl, Årsunda Strandbad. 30 minutes' drive from Kungsberget Ski resort and 20 minutes from popular Högbo Bruk. Currently, there is only access to the lake in winter.

Boende närmare vattnet är svårt att hitta. Att ta båten eller vintertid gå ut till Holmen utanför för att grilla och se på solnedgången är ett extra plus. 2 supboard finns att hyra, samt elmotor till båten. Sommartid går ibland nötdjur i närheten, och man kan då behöva öppna och stänga stängsel för att komma till stugan. Internet fungerar bra med mobilt bredband. VINTERINFO: Romme Alpin och Kungsberget är slalombackar 65 km bort. Ryllshyttebacken är en trevlig familjebacke 12 km bort.

You can cook on an outside firepit, we provide pans, and cutlery, and also wood, and water from our source. You have free access to the lake and the canoes, and free private sessions at the sauna. A breakfast basket is included.

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Stugan ligger i ett område med 7 stugor men helt avskilt från grannar. 5min från E4. Affär finns 10min bilfärd från stugan. Stugan saknar elektricitet och rinnande vatten. Färskvatten förses under vistelsen med vattendunkar. Gasolspis med ugn samt gasolkylskåp. Badtunnan tillgänglig påsk- slutet okt. Water hot tub ok to use during Easter- end oct.
