WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the fantastic nature, just up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. There is also a sauna in connection with the sea bath. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city centre. There are 2 km to Pizzeria and shopping in Virklund. There is wifi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

From the apartment's own terrace, you can follow the life of the lake in a wealth of different birds, and everything from kayaks to ferries. Beautiful hiking, MTB trails, cycling From the cozy mountain town of Laven, the train runs in a short time to Ry, silkeborg, Sejs, Aarhus , the station is only 400 meters from the apartment. Two terraces (south/north-facing) and balcony on the 1st floor. Ground floor: New bathroom and kitchen, dining area and living room with wood stove. From the living room, views of hills and lake. 1st floor: Living room, 3 separate rooms, exit to balcony. Parking space for 3 cars. Scenic area with lake and forest.

Quiet and cosy little guesthouse in our garden that sleeps two people. The area offers ample opportunity to cycle, run or walk in the beautiful nature around Silkeborg or Gudenåen (The River Guden). Vidkærhøj

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Beautiful apartment in rural surroundings, located in Søhøjlandet, halfway between Aarhus and Silkeborg. The apartment has a fantastic view to the south and west. You can use our fireplace, firewood is included. There is a private terrace with morning sun. On the farm there are horses, cows, chickens and turkeys. REMEMBER to bring your own bed linen, otherwise it is possible to rent this. Payment of this is made on arrival. REMEMBER to clean on departure.

Welcome to our cozy one room apartment in the countryside. The apartment is located in a separate annex in connection with our house (we have two Airbnb apartments in the same annex). So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex. Enjoy some relaxing days in peace and quiet. We look forward to meeting you.

The Yellow House by the Forest

The perfect starting point for hiking, mountain biking and other activities in Søhøjlandet. The house is not far from Himmelbjerget and the MTB track Danmarks Tag. We are happy to share hiking trails from the house on Topo GPS. The house has 1 bedroom with two beds. In addition, a bed in the living room, where there is also the possibility of sleeping on a sofa or mattress.
