You may see family members and friends tending honey bee hives, working in the detached garage, gardening, and completing other farm chores. The house is solely occupied by our guests. Originally built in the mid 1790’s the Homespun is significant in local architecture as an example of a dogtrot-plan structure, a rare building form of this period. The property is listed on the National register of Historic Places and Virginia Landmark Registry.
