[Spectacular Views of the Sea of Japan] Oceanfront Villa Featuring Solid Cedar, Sleeps 6
This is an oceanfront private villa with the Sea of Japan stretching out before you. Adjacent to Ayukawa Beach, you can enjoy the blue sea during the day, the setting sun on the horizon in the evening, and the fishing lights and starry sky at night. It is a special location where you can feel the Sea of Japan, which changes its appearance with each season, at any time during your stay. The building uses solid cedar for the ceiling, floor and walls. The space, enveloped in the scent and warmth of wood, creates an extraordinary experience where you can escape from everyday life and truly relax. You can also see the sea and the sunset from the bath, and you can enjoy a luxurious moment while soaking in the bathtub. The accommodation is a two-storey, private rental. There are 4 single beds on the ground floor and 1 double bed on the first floor, and it can accommodate up to 6 people. There is also a terrace overlooking the sea, which is perfect for morning coffee or a moment at sunset. The surrounding area is one of the best fishing spots on the Echizen coast. Recreational fishing boats depart from Ayukawa Fishing Port right in front of you, so it's also recommended for a stay with the purpose of fishing. In addition, we operate the Seaside Cafe Maure in a location just 3 minutes away by car, where you can enjoy a BBQ without having to bring anything. Please enjoy a stay at Guest House Maale, surrounded by the warmth of nature and wood, and the stunning view of the Sea of Japan.

Private rental "Teyuki-no-Yado" 5 minutes walk from Fukui Station East Exit
A 5-minute walk from Fukui Station, this private inn is a renovated 40-year-old private house that can accommodate up to 6 people, limited to one group per day. While retaining a Japanese atmosphere, it is well equipped for long-term stays with a kitchen, washing machine, Wi-Fi, etc. There is also a dinosaur-themed dinosaur room, which can be enjoyed by families with small children. It is also a very convenient location as a base for sightseeing. Access to tourist attractions where you can feel nature and history is also good, such as the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum, one of the largest in Japan, Ski Jam Katsuyama, one of the largest in western Japan, Eihei-ji Temple, where you can experience Zen, and Tojinbo, where powerful cliffs spread. It is a perfect location for a family vacation where you can enjoy the charms of Fukui. There are many restaurants and cafes within walking distance, and you can easily enjoy Fukui's famous grated soba and sauce cutlet rice bowls. There are also spots where you can enjoy a little adventure, such as a large dinosaur monument and dinosaur plaza in front of Fukui Station. This area is fun for both children and adults. There is also a tourist information center in Fukui Station, where you can find your favorite destination. Free parking is available for one regular car and one light car. Enjoy a relaxing time in a nostalgic and warm old private house.

Self check-in. Stay in the Samurai Ruins area!
We renovated part of a house in Ichijodani to be exclusively for private lodging. It is conveniently located for walking around Ichinotani, with nearby Asaga Kasuga Shrine, which was the Asakura family's war victory prayer place, the Asakura family ruins of Shimosakado, the Asakura family ruins museum and JR Ichinotani station, the Asakura family ruins Karamon, and the restored street. There is a firefly spot nearby, and you can also find them on the premises. There is also good access to major tourist destinations in Fukui Prefecture, such as the Dinosaur Museum, Ski Jam Katsuyama, Eihei-ji Temple, Tojinbo, Shibamasa, and the Sand Dome. There are no restaurants, supermarkets, or drug stores nearby. The convenience store is also 2.5 km away. There is a moss garden on the premises and a lawn that is not well maintained, but if the timing is right, you can enjoy a private cherry blossom viewing and snow play on the premises. Because it is a rural area, there are insects and small animals around the facility and sometimes in the room. If you cannot tolerate encountering these, please refrain from booking. The capacity is 4 people, but it feels quite small for 4 adults. No smoking in the facility, including the toilet, bathroom, and under the kitchen ventilation fan. Please refrain from cooking outside the kitchen with a portable stove, etc. License number M180031406
