This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated and where the oldest cottages are located along the path. Without hordes of tourists. (They're in Giethoorn Zuid) Here, there is still wonderful peace and the beauty of the old village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

Lupin

Modern furnished studio in the center of the water sports village of Grou. The studio is located in the heart of Grou. When you step out the door, you are immediately between the terraces and shops, walk another +/- 100m and you are at the Pikmeer where you will find options to rent a (sailing) boat. After a fun day in the area, relax on the sofa or outside in the sheltered and sunny south-facing garden. From the living room, you step into the bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a rain shower.

Lyts Kastieltsje, a quiet cottage in an orchard

Lyts Kastieltsje is one of our 2 properties. The other is the peaceful East Punsmiert chalet. Both are a short walk from the Waddenzee, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the largest tidal area on Earth. The cottage was once part of the cooling barn for the old fruit farm. It is surrounded by over a hectare of gardens, orchards and meadow which provide a home for our three sheep, bees and many species of birds. The orchards contain plum, quince, medlar and different varieties of apple and pear trees.

Grand Canal House in Harlingen

The house offers three bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom. It’s understated elegant interiors have been published in the UK House and Garden and the Residence interior magazines. Guests get to use the grand blue room with velvet clad walls and the souterrain kitchen with wood burning stove. There is a peaceful city garden with BBQ and outdoor seating. In the winter one can enjoy cosy evenings besides the various fireplaces, long dinners in the kitchen or baths in one of the bathrooms.

Stay in the middle of the historic center of Harlingen in a spacious, independent ground-floor apartment of about 75 m². Shops, restaurants, monumental streets, the harbors and the ferries to Terschelling and Vlieland are within minutes walking distance. You have a spacious living room, a separate bedroom, an eat-in kitchen, a bathroom with a washing machine, and a sheltered backyard. This also makes the accommodation comfortable for a midweek or a vacation of one to two weeks.

Montferland Thialf

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Just a few hundred metres from the beautiful Thialf ice stadium, in a very quiet area and close to Heerenveen's lively town centre, you'll find our new, cosy apartment, equipped with every comfort. Heerenveen is centrally located in the province of Friesland, so you can easily visit the most charming towns and lakes that Friesland has to offer. (Sneek, Lemmer, etc.) You can park your car for free before your stay.

Here in the quiet Frisian Rohel, you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and walking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Drink a glass of wine on the terrace by the water, with the view of infinity, under the old fruit trees in the garden. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

Floral chalet

The Flower Chalet is located in one of the quietest spots of Recreatiepark De Friese Wadden with beautiful views over the countryside. Around the cottage are several terraces, so you can always sit in the sun and/or out of the wind ( here on the coast it usually blows). Guests of the recreation park can use the swimming pool, the large playground or a tennis court. Unesco World Heritage The Wadden Sea is only 2 km away. I hope you feel completely at home!

Hof van Onna

A beautiful wooden house located on my parents' property. Relax in an oasis of greenery from spring to early autumn, a beautiful warm autumn feeling when the trees change color or seek coziness in the winter months. In the beautiful surroundings, there are many places to visit. Giethoorn, fortified town Steenwijk and the Havelterheide. Furthermore, there are three national parks nearby, NP Weerribben Wieden, the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld.

Enjoy lambs in the spring, birds chirping and a sweeping view over the Frisian landscape, even from the bathtub. The park has a lake and a forest path with fruit trees, which is also a habitat for deer. This area is known for its many tea gardens and the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. Perfect for enjoying the nature.

In the beautiful West Friesland in Oostwoud, we rent out a fully fenced 4-person vacation home called "Hazeweel." This vacation home is located in a small vacation park. It is located on through water with beautiful views and privacy. Hazeweel is a cozy, modern, spacious house equipped with a modern kitchen and fully equipped bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Beautiful spacious sunny garden with terrace furniture. It is possible to rent a fishing boat.

Pipo wagon Friesland

In our yard is this beautiful newly built gypsy wagon! This pipo wagon has a new kitchen, a bed and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The Frisian forests are ideal for beautiful bike rides and walks. In addition, Drachten, Leeuwarden and Groningen are in the vicinity. The pipo wagon has a view over the countryside. There are several hiking trails and cycling routes that pass the plot, such as the Friese Wouden path and routes 51, 21 and 34.
