Lyts Kastieltsje, a quiet cottage in an orchard

Lyts Kastieltsje is one of our 2 properties. The other is the peaceful East Punsmiert chalet. Both are a short walk from the Waddenzee, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the largest tidal area on Earth. The cottage was once part of the cooling barn for the old fruit farm. It is surrounded by over a hectare of gardens, orchards and meadow which provide a home for our three sheep, bees and many species of birds. The orchards contain plum, quince, medlar and different varieties of apple and pear trees.

Farmhouse Okkingastate

Get away from it all? This is possible on our 200-year-old farm close to the Wadden Coast (Unesco World Heritage) and the cities of Leeuwarden, Harlingen and Franeker. The Voorhuis of the farm has been converted into a spacious guesthouse overlooking the garden, meadows. We have an organic dairy farm and work with nature as much as possible. If you come to stay with us, you can discover and experience farm life, the Wadden Coast and Friesland, completely in your own rhythm. Welcome!

Gather in our spacious, cozy private residence within walking distance of the Wadden Sea. The perfect place to cook together and dine extensively with beloved friends or family. You can drink your wine by the fireplace or in the grape greenhouse, where you can sit comfortably outside all year round. Also in the large garden (with private parking) it is wonderful to stay in good weather. Base for the Wadden Islands, Harlingen, Leeuwarden and the Frisian lakes.

Floral chalet

The Flower Chalet is located in one of the quietest spots of Recreatiepark De Friese Wadden with beautiful views over the countryside. Around the cottage are several terraces, so you can always sit in the sun and/or out of the wind ( here on the coast it usually blows). Guests of the recreation park can use the swimming pool, the large playground or a tennis court. Unesco World Heritage The Wadden Sea is only 2 km away. I hope you feel completely at home!

Welcome aboard our beautiful houseboat in the charming marina of Harlingen! Enjoy the unique view of the water and the bustling shipyard. The houseboat is uniquely located, within a 10-minute walk you are in the historic center of Harlingen. Suitable for 4 people, the houseboat offers all comforts, including a cozy living room, well-equipped kitchenette, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom. The ideal base for a visit to the Wadden Islands and Frisian lakes.

Tiny Farm House met hot tub.

Between the green plains of the Friesche Menaldum you will find the uniquely built Tiny Farm House with veranda including hot tub. It is adjacent to a traditional 1880s farmhouse. Since 1980, farmer Folkert has run the dairy farm where 110 cows are milked. Relax in the hot tub or take a dip in the nearby swimming pond. Take the ferry to Terschelling or Vlieland for a day. Visit the capital Leeuwarden or hop on your bike and explore the area.

The park has a lake and a forest path with fruit trees, which is also a habitat for deer. This area is known for its many tea gardens and the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site.

Our beautiful comfortable Bakhuske is a small cozy apartment and equipped with every comfort. You have access to a small terrace, and you can also use the garden. Where you can enjoy the sun or, for example, make a fire. You can cycle and walk in the area. There are bicycle routes available.
