Lake Constance is a 10-minute walk from here. There is a great lake and outdoor pool or a recreational area with free access and SUP rental. The fully signposted Lake Constance cycle path, as one of the most popular cycle paths in Europe, runs for around 260 kilometers along the lake shore. There are beautiful hiking trails for nature lovers or as a starting point for many sights around Lake Constance such as Meersburg, Constance, Bregenz Festival, Mainau Island, and much more.

King Ludwig's Old Neighbour

Welcome to the house of my childhood memories. It is located right below the castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, surrounded by lakes and mountains. Inspired by the contrast between heritage and sharing economies, the designer Michl Sommer and his team of featuring-amsterdam have created this microcosm inside the traditional neighbourhood of Hohenschwangau. There is a beautiful footpath/cycle path after Wasserburg village. The 1-room apartment has a nice terrace, where you can also barbecue, and a small garden. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are included in the price. The nearby, free Lindenhofbad with beach café is within easy walking distance.
