Cabin Damtjenna, Selbustrand 4 Bedrooms and attic

Relax with the whole family in this practical cabin. There are several hiking opportunities in the area. Swimming in Damtjenna (approx. 350 m), hike up to Gapahuken at Gjøversaltjenna (approx. 1.5 km road/trail) or top hike to Gjøversalen at 664 m above sea level (partly trail) In winter there are nice ski slopes right outside the cabin. (skisporet.no) The entire plot is fenced which makes it convenient with a dog. There is a toll road with automatic sign reading up to the cabin, but 1 car can be included in the rent if you send registration number in advance.

You can sleep under the stars, enjoy the panoramic view over the Trondheim Fjord, catch a magical sunset or see the amazing Northern Lights if you're lucky. The dome is 23 square metres with a window in the ceiling and in the front and it is located on a terrace on two levels with seating and a fire pit. Brygge er tilgjengelig ved Selbusjøen sommers tid. Herfra kan man padle i kajakk/kano eller ro seg en tur. Gården ligger nære Gjenvollhytta og Langmyra skianlegg om man vil gå på ski i oppkjørte løyper. Dagsturer til Kråkfjellet og Rensfjellet er mulig. Vassfjellet er 10 min unna og kun 30 min. til Trondheim :)

The flat comprises the entire ground floor of a small farmhouse and has a main bedroom with ensuite, a sitting room (functions as a second bedroom when there are more than two guests), a kitchen and a second bathroom. The surroundings are peaceful and you can park right outside the door. At certain times of year, you might see elk or cranes. In the summer, cows graze in the nearby fields; the traditional barn is now a cultural centre, run by Fjøsakademiet.
