Beautiful log cabin charmingly located in a nature reserve on the edge of a historic village (European monastery museum) as a vacation, weekend house or temporarily for rent. Located 25 km south of Paderborn and 10 km from the Hochsauerlandkreis. Minimum stay 3 nights. Additional costs for electricity, water and heating are charged according to consumption (meters available). In addition to electric heating, the log cabin is equipped with a fireplace, hot water via instantaneous water heater.

Our ecological log cabin, built in 2022, is located on the edge of an oak grove on a 550 m high plateau called Oesterberge, in the middle of the Sauerland Nature Park. When furnishing, we placed special emphasis on stylish and comfortable furnishings. For hikers, mountain bikers, but also for families with children, it becomes a small paradise. Located on the edge of our farm, guests of all ages can experience pure nature, tranquility and spectacular views.

Idyllic wooden log house by Michèle and Frank

We warmly welcome you to our approx. 80 sqm wooden house. If we are not using it ourselves, we will gladly make it available to others. Since we often use the house ourselves, our things are also in the house. Of course, you will get the house absolutely tidy and clean. The beds are freshly made and towels are ready for you. All spices in the house can be used. Please let us know if something is used up.

Here in Velbert, in the beautifully located Deilbachtal, we offer an approximately 60 square meter detached holiday home for 2 people, directly by the forest. The apartment has a kitchen, bathroom with bathtub, bedroom with a 180 x 650 box-spring bed and is heated with underfloor heating. The living room consists of a living room with 2 sofas, a TV and a dining area directly opposite the kitchen.
