This is a peaceful castle town where people still live today.Feel the elegance and forget your busy daily life in a room in a spacious and quiet old traditional house. This is the location where the film "The Father of the Galactic Railway", released in May 2023, was filmed.Mankatsu Shoten also appears in that film.The scene in the second-hand bookshop in "Yakusho Hiroshi" was filmed at this inn. You can get to the Iwamura Castle site on foot or by car.Come and see what battles you've had here. There are not a lot of tourists like other tourist destinations, so you can have the city life to yourself.Iwamura fans will continue to come. After 4 pm, you'll be surprised by the calm and quiet.Walking down the main street at night, you'll see a row of lanterns that look like paper lanterns, and it's very magical. On the "summer solstice" day, the sunset falls straight ahead of the street and you can see the very beautiful scenery.(Depending on the weather, about 1 week, around 6:30 pm, around mid-June of each year) We also operate retro kimono rentals and dressing in this building.If you'd like to wear a kimono, please make a reservation.Guests staying with us will have a discounted price. There's a back garden and a storehouse at the back of the building, so you might feel like a ninja (^-^)

This is an old house built 221 years ago, located in the center of Tsumago-juku. The 20-tatami living room has a sunken hearth (currently unavailable) and you can enjoy the old Japanese private house. There are 3 bedrooms, so you can stay with a large number of people, such as family and friends. No meals are provided. You are welcome to use the full kitchen freely. There is a backyard at the end of the dirt floor that continues from the entrance, and you can walk around freely. Equipped with WiFi and an automatic lifting table, teleworking is also possible for long-term stays. Please have a relaxing time in this quiet old house. We look forward to seeing you !
