Located in a quiet residential area directly on the Rothaarsteig, you can start hiking and cycling tours right away. The apartment has one bedroom, a guest room for 2 additional guests, a large bathroom with a tub, a guest toilet with a shower, a living/dining room (with a wood-burning stove) and a southwest-facing balcony. You can grill and enjoy the sun on the large southeast-facing terrace. The kitchen is comfortably furnished.

Right outside your door: forests, hiking trails & pure nature, plus castles in Weilburg & Braunfels as well as the Braunfels Golf Club – the perfect combination of privacy, comfort & relaxation. Enjoy a pleasant stay in the apartment in a quiet southern hillside with magnificent views right on the edge of the forest. On a total of approx. 70 square meters, it offers a large living room with dining area and TV, a large bedroom with TV as well as a second bedroom, kitchen and bathroom/toilet. The kitchen is equipped with the usual household appliances (stove, oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, dishes, cutlery). In the garden, there is a sunny terrace.

Lean back & relax... Our one-room apartment was created only with natural building materials. With a lot of love for detail, I have processed natural slate & oak wood here. The high-quality interior invites you to relax. Here, at the gate to the Vogelsberg, among other things, is the entrance to the volcano mountain bike trail "Mühlental." Bike charging station directly at the apartment. Then a sauna session? If you are interested, it is possible to take a tour with my US Oldies ;-)

In the stable – side by side with hen and horse

'IM PFERDESTALL' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the Mühlenanwesen. It used to be a stable. (Be sure to check out my other apartment, 'Scheunen-Loft', too.) The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people seeking a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat up with the stove. See below.
