Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Velkommen til Tromvik - et perfekt sted for å kunne se nordlys og midnattssol. Bolig med nydelig utsikt og gode fasiliteter i Tromvik, ei vakker bygd med hav, fjell og strender i umiddelbar nærhet. Tromvik og omegn er en av de mest populære områdene for å oppleve nordlys og midnattssol, samt turområder for ski, fjellklatring, toppturer, fiske m.m. Tromvik ligger ca. 45 minutters kjøretur fra Tromsø Lufthavn. Nærmeste butikk er Eide handel som er ca. 30 minutter før du kommer til Tromvik.

My husband and I started our project in 2017 and finished it in the end of July 2024. I’ve been obsessed with the bay window where I can see the beauty of the view through all the seasons which give me such a different moment in every season to take on. I would love to share those moments with all of you. Welcome to our place and make your own memory to bring home.

Atmospheric red cabin

Red cottage in the village of Rautiosaari by the riverside, 16km from the centre of Rovaniemi. It is recommended to use your own(rented) car. (Public transport runs infrequently.) From our own yard you can go directly to the river for walking and ice fishing. We have own sledding hill for the kids when enough snow has fallen. If you have good luck, you can see auroras from our backyard. Bed Linen and towels are included. The host is nearby, and you can always contact him by phone.

Kano kan fritt brukes med forbehold om at redningsvester brukes og sjø kunnskap er til stede. På eget ansvar. Badestamp er vedfyrt og må avtales for oppfyring. Tilleggspris pr gang tilkommer. Sauna er vedfyrt og kan fritt brukes. Oppfyring gjøres av gjester. Perfekt for å se Nordlys siden det er lite lysforurensning.

You will get to enjoy an amazing view with the star ⭐ and the northern light at night. 💚 The location is also make it easier to travel to Lyngen, Senja, Lofoten and North cape. Recommend to rent a car but also can travel with bus to the city centre every 1-2 hour. We offer pick up service for our guest. We also have service with hotub and ice fishing on the season.😊

This new (10/2025) triangular cottage is located on the shore of a small lake just a 20-minute drive from the centre of Tampere, but in the middle of a large wooded plot it feels like you are in the middle of a wilderness. Wake up to the birdsong, enjoy your morning coffee on the jetty and watch the mist rise from the water. Take a hiking or mountain bike trip in a nearby nature park or try your luck at fishing. Evening sauna, hot tub, fireplace and starry sky crown the day.
