In the middle of the countryside is our small half-timbered cottage - part of a courtyard with three residential units - right on the edge of the forest. Surrounded by couples, fields and old trees, you will directly experience peace and quiet as guests. The house combines historical natural materials with modern comforts such as underfloor heating and 100 Mbps fiber internet. In summer you can enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun under oaks, in winter the fireplace bursts for cozy warmth.

The vacation home was completed in 2018. It is located on a farm in the northernmost part of Gelsenkirchen. All attractions, such as Movie Park, Zoom Adventure World, Arena Auf Schalke, Alpine Center Bottrop, Atlantis Dorsten and many more can be reached quickly. Bakers, cafes, supermarkets, pharmacies and doctors are within walking distance. Around our farm you will find grain, corn, potato fields and horse meadows where you can walk, or you can enjoy the tranquility on our terrace and relax.

Old mill on the sandstone farm

Our vacation home “Alte Mühle” is a former water mill. The mill house has three floors: On the first floor there is a small bathroom with shower and a fitted kitchen with dining area. A dishwasher, coffee maker and fridge with freezer are provided. From the kitchen you can access the garden terrace. On the middle floor is the cozy living room with a wide sofa bed. In the attic there are two single beds and a spacious closet.
