If you are looking for a sunny country, surrounded by greenery, quiet, relaxing and away from everyday traffic: Spoccia is the ideal country (height 800 mt) Spoccia is located in the Cannobina Valley, just 13 km from Lake Maggiore, where you will find Cannobio (with its characteristic Sunday-morning market) and the Vigezzo Valley (also known as the Painters' Valley). Cà du Sulfar is a few steps from the car park along the characteristic main street built entirely in rabbit. Completely renovated 2 years ago, special attention has been paid to the exposed beamed ceiling, the veranda for breakfast with the magnificent view of the valley and the wooden staircase leading to the upper floor. Cà du Sulfar is built on two floors: on the first floor open kitchen with traditional oven and microwave , living room with fireplace and a small closet with washing machine. From the wooden staircase there is access to the veranda with a micro museum of traditional Spoccia tools. Upstairs are the two bedrooms (one double and the other with two single beds) and the windowed bathroom with shower. Since there are no shops in Spoccia, it is advisable to reach the country with a good supply of food and non-food items. On Thursday afternoons (around 2:30 pm) you can buy fruit and vegetables from a street vendor directly at the car park; always on Thursday morning there is also a bus service that goes to Cannobio with return around noon From Spoccia there are several paths that lead to mountain pastures and panoramic points You can take day trips/excursions to Verbania , to visit the fantastic park of Villa Taranto , Stresa with its Art Nouveau hotels, from where you can make visits to the Borromeo Islands, Orta San Giulio, from the magical medieval atmosphere From the stations of Verbania and Stresa you can easily reach by train Milan and Novara

Chalet La Barona

Spacious cottage for up to 8 people. The house is located in Cursolo, a small typical northern Italian village on the sunny southern slope in the Valle Cannobina about 900 meters above sea level. The spacious outdoor area (sitting area on the balcony, pergola, barbecue) offers a picturesque view of the valley and the surrounding mountains and villages. Relaxing tranquility is guaranteed. The village has retained its original character and its diverse animal and plant species to this day.
