Luxurious Self Catering Annex

Thatched Cottage Annex has been newly converted to a very high standard and offers comfortable self catering accommodation. It is set in two and a half acres of private paddocks and woodland within the South Downs National park and offers easy access to Goodwood Race course, the beautiful villages of Petworth, Midhurst and Arundel and is only 15 miles from the coast. We are pleased to offer private off road parking behind electric gates. You also have your own private dog friendly garden which can be used for Al Fresco dining as it has a BBQ, a large comfortable double bedroom with solid oak flooring, a fully equipped kitchen complete with hob, microwave/oven/grill and fridge, a wetroom walk in shower with underfloor heating and a lovely seating area with leather chairs sky TV and internet access. A mile down the road is Charlie's Farm shop which stocks all their own produce and also provides a selection of wines. Nearby there are numerous cycle paths, walks and golf courses.. We recommend a car but there are a large number of local country pubs within a 3 mile radius that offer a wide varity of menus. Please note: We are now pleased to be able to offer 'Elderflower', our newly acquired Shepherds Hut as an alternative to the annex or to compliment it if four person accommodation is required. The Shepherds Hut is located 50m from the annex, within the grounds of Thatched Cottage. It is also listed on this website.

This unique, architecturally designed aluminium pod, provides a glamorous retreat. Nestling in a private woodland, since 2016, overlooking a dew pond and the valley below, the space affords a kingsize bed, shower/wc, living area incorporating a 'galley' kitchen. Wood-burning stove, dining table and chairs and a sofa/ bunk bed. Please be advised that there are NO curtains/blinds, in the accommodation, nor tv/wifi/mobile reception. The Airship is NOT suitable for those who need these services.

The cottage is newly renovated with many of it's beautiful original features restored. Our hideaway offers the perfect getaway. Soak up the peace and quiet, take in the amazing view and relax surrounded by ancient woodland, only 50 miles from London. The SHED is ideally located in the beautiful West Sussex countryside just outside the South Downs National Park and a short drive from the coastThere are lovely walking and cycling routes straight from the door. We are well situated for trips to Goodwood ,Fontwell and Cowdray Park.The towns of Guildford,Brighton ,Chichester,Arundel and Petworth are all nearby. Well behaved dogs are welcome on leads as there is no fenced area. A travel cot for babies is available.but bedding not provided
