The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

The house is located by itself on the beach, and here is idyllic, peace and quiet. The cottage is located in the middle of nature, and you will wake up to the sound of waves and wildlife close by. "Norskehuset" is part of the Eskjær Hovedgaard manor, and is therefore an extension of the beautiful and historic surroundings. The house is in itself simply furnished, but caters to all everyday needs.

The apartment has its own entrance, a key box for easy check-in, an electric car charger and free access to a washing machine. Inside there is entrance hall, small bathroom with shower, 2 bedrooms, fully equipped open plan kitchen and living room with comfortable 140 cm sofa bed. Our garden has a fun playground for younger children and a cozy orangery that everyone can enjoy. We always give you a clean home, towels and bed linen. Welcome

The apartment is furnished with double bed (180X200 cm), sofa, dining table, etc. The kitchen is equipped with pots / plates, etc. as a holiday apartment. There is a toilet in the apartment and access to a bathroom in the basement. It is possible to use the garden with a lovely terrace. The apartment is close to shopping and with good bus connections. It is 250 meters to the nearest stop. 4A and 11 often go into town. Free parking on the road.

The home is located in rural surroundings with many opportunities for experiences in nature. Parking right at the door. "Aftægtshuset" is a home of 80 m2, of which 50 m2 is used by AirB&b guests. 2 beds with the possibility of additional bedding. Bathroom and kitchenette with refrigerator. Note that there is no stove. If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

House in the country - The Retro House

Note! Limited bookings spring/summer 2025 due to construction work on the farm! Welcome to Vandbakkegaarden’s Retro House. Here you will find nature, peace and plenty of cosiness in authentic surroundings. The house is the original cottage built around 1930, while we live in a newer house on the property. The house deserves to be lived in and cared for, and you – our guests, contribute to that. We also appreciate offering our guests a different type of holiday and on a budget.
