But even the most discerning guests will be quickly spirited away by the rustic charm and secluded forest feel. The Chalet sleeps 4 people and has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The Chalet is located approx. 4.5hrs from NYC by car and is the perfect place to: escape the city, rekindle a romance, ski/ride Whiteface Mountain, hike, fish and so much more!

Magical Treehouse

Sleep up in the trees in our cozy Magical Treehouse. This place is the perfect base camp for your next adventure, or a unique spot to curl up with a good book. The perfect place to be in the woods, but not isolated. Cook your meals in the nearby cookhouse (40’ away, unheated) on a camp stove or over an open campfire. A heated bathroom/shower is 20’ away. We provide you with linens, cookware, plus help you plan your trip. Property includes miles of hiking trails and beautiful places to explore!

Ridgevue retreat; peaceful country getaway

This bright, spacious apartment features a private bathroom, outdoor hot tub, private entrance and two private decks. The apartment is located on the second floor of our beloved farmhouse. Enjoy the views from the outdoor hot tub or the south-facing deck or enjoy miles of walking trails through our pasture and forest. Only 10 minutes to the Trout River border crossing to Canada. 20 minutes south gets you to a prestigious 36-hole PGA golf course. Just a few minutes more and you can ski at Titus Mountain. Hosts live on property and invite you enjoy the sounds of the Trout River.

Old Wood Hollow Retreat (Farm)

Located an hour outside of Montreal, Old Wood Hollow is a brick victorian homestead nestled far from the road, deep in the woods. With 100 acres to explore across hay fields, an orchard and a wooded trail, the modern farmhouse (complete with a built-in generator and a heated floors) offers a respite from the city. *Pool opens June 20th & closes on Labour Day. Please note the pool is NOT GUARANTEED. It’s an older pool & sometimes must be closed or conditioned temporarily. Thank you!

Hibernation Station

Relax and recharge in our beautiful cabin nestled in the Adirondack Mountains in a small RV park . Studio style space with a private bathroom. A queen size bed and 2 cots are available. There is a small kitchen space with a sink, microwave, pod coffee maker and mini fridge. Bathroom includes a stand up shower, toilet and sink. Guests can enjoy the outside space which is equipped with a picnic table and fire pit. Amazing view of Chateaugay Lake and night time skies.

Peaceful, 70+ acre farm

100 year old 70+ acre family farm. This is a small upstairs apartment with one bed, one bath, kitchenette on a family farm. Owners are empty nesters and live on first floor. Absolutely beautiful and peaceful area. Walk the 70+ acres and feed the animals. We are right on U.S./ Canadian border. One hour to Vermont and Montreal. Stairs are on narrow/steep side getting up to apartment. Be aware this is a functioning farm. Chickens and other animals roam the property.
