“This is a cute studio in a historical building in downtown Warren, making it very convenient to restaurants, businesses and entertainment. Everything is within easy walking distance, including a grocery store and a couple of pharmacies.”
Our friends call it the "Funny Farm" because there's always something to smile about here. Our little (20x12) cabin has electricity, a comfortable futon, portable toilet, faux fireplace, television and other fun stuff. Enjoy free range of the farm. Visit the alpacas, goats, chickens, geese, kittens and ducks. We also keep a refrigerator in the barn where you'll a free bottled water and other goodies. It's a good life on the Bella Luna Alpaca Farm.
“Chris and Wes are great! They really made it feel like home and showed great hospitality. The cabin was so so cute and cozy. It was more private than we had expected. We loved it! We had free range of the farm so we could feed the animals whenever we wanted. They offered a fire pit for use and even allowed us to use their buggie to tour the property and a near by Beaver dam. They suggested a great place to have dinner called new beginnings. Their doggies were awesome too! We loved pettting and giving treats to Maggie, Molly and Prince. The farm animals were great - Captain Jack was my favorite. Lol. He was a very friendly goat. We would definitely love to come back! Thank you again Chris and Wes for making our first trip since we started dating a wonderful one. :) We definitely recommend!”
Welcome to Riverside Cabins, located on the scenic Allegheny River in West Hickory, Forest County, PA. Cabin 1 sleeps 3-4 people. Cabins has A/C , microwave and a mini refrigerator. Outside is a picnic table and fire ring. Both cabins share a modern bathhouse with a shower, sink, and toilet. You can walk down to the river or walk across the road to the Sportsman Bar for food and drink.
“If you don't have service through verizon, you're going to need to actually go up and knock on the door of the host's house right beside the cabins because you probably will have spotty service or none at all, but otherwise, check in was super easy. You're at the mercy of how clean or not clean the people in the other cabin choose to be as far as the bathroom situation goes, but the host was really great about cleaning after the other cabin's guests checked out. Another thing to know is the hosts provide firewood, which is super nice. There would be plenty places in the area to get it though, if you needed more. Also, if you're looking for a place to go kayaking or a place to order food from, they put some info in a drawer next to the mini fridge. The cabin was beautiful and included both a ceiling fan and a window A/C unit, which was wonderful. Bring a lantern or a cell phone light when traveling from the cabin to the bathroom in the dark, because there is a dog that walks around off-leash with one of the people that take care of the place, and there were some presents that got left behind on the grass near the cabin Over all, this is a beautiful place in a gorgeous location and this listing is a great deal for a fun outdoorsy getaway.”
