Light, bright, modern self-contained annex. Private entrance to the front and garden patio to the rear. Everything you need to just relax in a private space set aside just for you with a fully equipped kitchen. Situated in the centre of Cheddar village, just 10mins walk from Cheddar Gorge and 15-20 mins drive from Bristol Airport Ideally situated for hiking on the beautiful Mendips and in reasonable driving distance of Bristol and Bath. Owners live in adjoining house and will be on-site.
What guests are saying:“I booked a weekend stay in Julie's Annex for myself and my husband. On arriving, we found the accomodation to be clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The welcome card and cookies were a welcome touch, along with the fresh milk in the fridge. The room is light and airy with a view out onto the garden, where we were delighted to see various birds on the feeders, including goldfinches. The Annexe is walking distance to Cheddar Village centre where there is lots to see and do. We did the Cheddar Walk, starting up Jacob's ladder, Gough's cave, Cheese factory and Museum . The scenery is beautiful and there are lots of places to eat. We especially enjoyed our meal at La Rocca Italian restaurant. Whilst staying in the Annex, we had a slight problem with the plumbing but this was swiftly sorted before we returned back in the evening. Thank you Julie for a lovely stay, we will definitely recommend you to our friends.”

What guests are saying:“For anyone on the hunt for peace, tranquillity and getting stuck in with nature this is the best place we have found to date. Chris was a fantastic, friendly host who is very laid back. We were able to scout his beautiful 3 acre woodland and pitch our tent wherever we liked with the added bonus of being able to scavenge for fallen branches and logs to build our own fire. We were safe in the knowledge of knowing we wouldn't be disturbed too as the entire woodland was ours for the night. We loved falling asleep to the sounds of the owls calling and the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, away from it all. We will definitely be back!”
Large modern annex situated within the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Fabulous views front and back to the hills and across the Somerset Levels. Great base for exploring Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Wells, Priddy and much more with walking trails starting at the house. Ideal Studio for quiet work, for couples on a break, and young families. Large Bathroom, balconies, studio kitchenette, king sized bed, 2 optional large sofa beds and parking. Continental breakfast included.

Our hosts were very thoughtful with many nice touches , such as maps of the area, a torch for nighttime walks to local pubs and a full range of breakfast food. We had a splendid weekend in the Mendips.”
