“HIGHLY recommend this place. The kitchen was FULLY equipped and had many extras! It was like staying at the home of a dear friend. Sparkling clean and comfortable. Honestly, it was so comfortable that my husband had to force me to leave the property! And the neighborhood was quiet, charming and friendly! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!”
This lakefront lot used to have a small cottage and detached garage. The cottage was removed and the garage converted into a studio apartment. This conversion has resulted in the perfect little studio that is modern and comfortable. Combine this unique cozy space with the grassy lot and a pebble beach at the lake's edge - and you have a serene retreat.
“We had the nicest time at this little studio cabin. First of all, it was easy to find and ADORABLE. It was right on the lake and perfect. We’ve been cooped up at home for months and this change of scenery was perfect. The neighbors were friendly and the local businesses were safely opening so we were able to get food, coffee and do a little shopping. Loved the little fire pit on the water. I felt relaxed for the first time in a long time.”
Beautiful modern lakefront house across the lake from Chautauqua Institution. Has private dock w/boat lift. Huge wrap around deck to enjoy outdoor activities and amazing sunsets. Outside firepit and charcoal grill. Friendly and quiet neighborhood. *Price per night includes 5% occupancy tax*
“Four adults and two children spent a delightful long autumn weekend at Doug’s cottage directly overlooking the lake. In fact, the living room is so close to the water that we felt we were on a boat. Doug has done a commendable job refurbishing a former boat house into a quaint guest cottage with two bedrooms, two full baths and living room/kitchen. Towels and other linens are nice and plentiful. The furnishings are nautical in style and casual — appropriate for a lake front cottage. The cottage was clean and well stocked with all amenities. The kitchen floor slopes a little, and water pressure can vary depending on how much water is in use for other functions. These observations are not meant to be complaints, rather to point out what we felt were charming accents to Doug’s waterfront cottage. Doug is a five star host, very gracious and helpful. We hope to return.”
