“An exceptional welcome from Alain Claude and Monique. A very hearty breakfast with jams prepared with the fruits of the garden! A very well decorated room and a very clean and independent bathroom. The view is also breathtaking on the valleys and forests. And the garden very nice. Topped by a small veranda where you can drink glasses and eat. I highly recommend.”

“La Maisonnette de Mamie is a stop very well located on the holiday route (ski or sun, or both), its proximity to the highway is significant when you get out of 5 hours of traffic jams! I emphasize the quality of the welcome from Marie-Noëlle and her husband (the previous comments were true).”

“Bernadette made us feel welcome 110% of the time. Her kind and caring nature gave the surroundings its own added warmth of ambience because you knew that she really wanted every detail of the place to add to your stay there. A true 10 out of 10 for the hosts. The place itself was lovely. It was only Alice and I, so for 2 people, it is ideal. The kitchen was a perfect size, enabling us both to use it together when cooking dinners. There was space for an array of products that you might want to stow away for moments of picking, as well as plenty of fridge and freezer space. The shower was AMAZING, the bed was extremely comfortable and there were lots of nice touches of decoration. The WiFi was perfect and ran smoothly, cupboard space was plentiful, which meant we didn't have to live out of suitcases. All in all, the place was a 10 out of 10, and a real home from home. You do have to drive, as the village is remote(ish), but isn't everywhere in rural France? I can't imagine you'd book out here without being aware of that in the first place. But, as remote as it feels, it is extremely close to larger towns and cities that make for wonderful days out. Would we go again? Yes, yes, and more yeses. Thank you for providing us with the most incredible place to stay, and for making our trip even more relaxing with your caring ways. Jamie and Alice”
