Hello and bonjour, My name is Nicola and I'm Scottish but love the fantastic countyside here in beautiful Burgundy. Our cute house with terrace and mezzanine is nestling under the magnificent Chateauneuf en Auxois. In 2 minutes you can walk along the Canal De Bourgogne taking in the wonderful views. Lots of interestings places to visit,wine to drink, markets, restaurants, castles, nature. Beaune 25 minutes, Dijon 40. Local market in summer in Pouilly en Auxois on a Friday. A bientot, Nicola :)

The heated garden kitchen can be enjoyed year round providing simple cooking facilities, dining table and armchairs. There is an area for alfresco meals, a small herb garden & deck chairs to enjoy the spectacular views; off road parking. The owners, Bill and Jenny Higgs live next door - very discreet but always on hand to help.

Come and discover the "Once upon a time..." cottage in Vandenesse-en-Auxois, on the banks of the Burgundy Canal, 5 km from the Pouilly-en-Auxois exit of the A6, at the foot of the Château de Chateauneuf-en-Auxois. The fairy of the place will welcome you with pleasure and friendliness, she will be at your disposal to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Guests can enjoy a pleasant living room with lounge, equipped kitchen, TV, master suite and a "cabin" bedroom with LOW ceiling and toilet.
