This cosy and relaxing house is located in a small village in the Allier (03, Auvergne Rhône-Alpes). You will find a bakery, a mini-market, a bar-tabac, a pharmacy, a hotel-restaurant, a local products shop and a brocante. The village borders the Allier River – ideal for canoeing or fishing – and the house is situated on the GR3, the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago). Beautiful walks in the area: Allier River 5 km away, Tronçais Forest 20 km away. Near us, the Lurcy-Lévy circuit (5 km) or Magny-Cours (25 km) for racing enthusiasts. You will also be about 1 hour from Le Pal Park, only 40 km from Moulins and its stage costume museum.

On a private property of more than 3 ha, including our house and a small stable, the 35 m2 cottage is directly on the edge of a 700 m2 body of water and can accommodate up to 4 people. It consists of a shower room, an equipped kitchen, a living room, a bedroom with a queen size bed and a mezzanine with two 90 beds. You will have a huge garden area by the water and a wood stove for cooler evenings.

A wonderful stay at Château de Paraize: staying in the French countryside with beautiful views of the horses in the fields. The river Allier is within walking distance, enjoy beautiful nature, old towns, wine estates, markets with good food or flea markets. Or bbq with us at Paraize itself, participate in a wine tasting in the old wine cellar by candlelight, or just enjoy the campfire.
