“Jenna was a perfect host. The A Frame was wonderful for me and my 3 kids (ages 15, 14, and 5) and she was so thoughtful in supplying a s'mores kit when she found out they were coming. It was so nice to fall asleep to the sound of a creek and spring peepers. It was exactly what I needed. My daughter and my little guy had a blast watching the tadpoles and salamanders in the pond. The large supply of board games and puzzles made for good nights as well. We didn't have the greatest weather, it rained pretty much the whole weekend, so we never had an outdoor fire but the wood burning stove kept us nice and warm. We also got takeout from one of Jenna's recommendations, The Whiskey Hill Saloon. With Coronavirus going on they are only open Thursday to Sunday, we went Sunday afternoon and they were serving BBQ from Wicked Wenches and it was phenomenal. Another suggestion from myself is to take a drive to the South Dayton grocery store and get some donuts. I had heard great things and man they did not disappoint. I may go as far as saying they're as good as if not better than Paula's in Buffalo. And for $9.99 a dozen it's a steal. So to conclude I would say if you can get a weekend away (or longer) stay at The A Frame. It's perfect for any type of trip (with kids, without kids, couples, girls trips). It is a perfect getaway for when you need a break... All you will hear is nature. 😊”

“The Paddle Inn is one of those special places you search and search for on AirBnB and can’t really believe is real when you find it. Rodney was so welcoming and helpful, responding within seconds every time we communicated. You can tell they take cleaning and hygiene seriously too, every surface was immaculately clean when we arrived and a spray bottle of disinfectant was left out for us in case there were any areas we wanted to touch up on our own. Those are all small details though, the space itself is amazing. The cabin is more charming than it looks in the pictures and the experience of staying on your own private island is total fun. Lastly, I so appreciate how welcoming Rodney was to our daughters, leaving little treats and things out for them, he is a tremendous host and made us feel like welcomed guests from the second we arrived. One small note, and it has nothing to do with the cabin or these wonderful hosts. The town of Cassadaga has a very peculiar custom of activating what can only be described as a tornado siren every time there’s a 911 call. And that includes the middle of the night. Twice during our 7 day stay we were awoken in the middle of the night thinking there was an air raid coming... I have no idea why they do it, it doesn’t make sense, but once you know what it is, you adjust, sort of. They also test it at noon, every single day. It’s worth it though, just ignore the siren, soak in the island life...”
This site offers one of two spacious and clean bedrooms with queen beds, a common room, a shared bathroom, a porch, and a gazebo. Our other bedroom is the Lavender Room, which can also be found on Airbnb. (We don't know why the Blue Room is listed first. A small mystery of life, we guess.) We are located in the Spiritualist community of Lily Dale. There is a daily $15 gate fee per person during season. Occupancy tax is 13% and is separate. Pontoon rides are available.
“Danielle, Bob & Isabelle were wonderful hosts. I had a lot of questions about Lily Dale prior to my arrival and they were fast with responses and gave great recommendations on mediums to see for a reading. Their home is in right in Lily Dale, walking distance to everything you would want to see while you're there (Inspiration Stump, Pet Cemetery, Fairy Trail, gift shop, beach, food, mediums etc). The blue room was clean and had cute decor. Also the day of check-out I was looking to explore more in Lily Dale and they let me keep my car in their driveway while I explored around which I thought was nice since you cannot just park on the streets there you have to park in designated spots. I would stay here again when I come back to Lily Dale.”
