Enjoy summer days and gorgeous nights! We are located in a rustic area of northwest Michigan, 15 miles north of Harbor Springs, within 2 miles of the Tunnel of Trees. We are conveniently located for nature preserves, state parks, hiking trails, beautiful beaches, and Mackinaw City / Island. Our home is attached to the guest suite but guests access their suite via a secured private entrance. Our equipped kitchen has a pantry, fresh farm eggs, butter, a home-baked item, ground coffee, and teas.

Luxury Mushroom House- Earl Young’s Personal home!

Built on a knoll that inspired its design sits a house of stone overlooking Lake Michigan, its architect Earl Young called it home for over 30 years. Young designed and built this mushroom house and he chose the best spot in Charlevoix to do so! You will feel like you’re at a private retreat on your back deck up two stories high. Newly remodeled one bedroom cabin located in Carp Lake. The cabin is in a residential neighborhood directly off US 31. The cabin is located 6 miles south of Mackinaw City. This property has a shared access to Paradise Lake which is located at the intersection of Wheeling Road and Paradise Trail ( about a 2 minute walk). The cabin is also located directly across from the North Western State Trail, which is a hiking and biking trail in the summer and snowmobile trail in the winter.

The restoration and preservation of this unique Airbnb is finished! One of the oldest surviving structures in the area. It was a “Tin Shop & Stoves” store in the late 1800’s since then it has been a General Store and private residence.
