“Rose’s cottage is all it appears to be from the photos. The wood burning stove and the gorgeous bath are very visible star features. What is less obvious from the photos is that you have a well equipped kitchen, so if you wish to cook during your stay, you will have everything you need. It’s a beautiful and comfortable place, where you will feel instantly at home, with the bonus of a stunning stream-side setting. Can’t wait to go back!”

“The perfect place to stay for a restful and peaceful weekend. We will be recommending the pods to just about anyone who will listen! The pod is sparkling clean and such a great use of space. It feels homely and cosy as soon as you arrive. Fantastic facilities to cook and enjoy meals with plenty of cutlery and silverware provided. The hot tub is easy to use and very relaxing and positioned perfectly with privacy. Also highly recommend Zinga Indian takeaway who delivered to the gate very quickly, the food was amazing. We will definitely be coming back to the Ashlea Lakeside Retreat.”
Loft apartment in the lovely idyllic village of Leighterton in the Cotswolds. Surrounded by farms and fields with plenty of walks to explore. Perfect spot for Concerts at Westonbirt Arboretum or Badminton horse trials only a short distance away. Village pub only 2 minute walk down the road.
“We had a wonderful 3 day stay in the Hayloft! It was the first time we’d stayed in a studio apartment with our 10 month old but the space was more than comfortable. The travel cot was a great bonus because we didn’t need to pack our own, and there was an offer of additional baby items if we needed! The little touches such as a box of toys, flowers, and household items was a lovely touch. The Royal Oak pub was just a 2 minute walk away and served some lovely food and drinks. However, we also used the Hayloft amenities to cook for ourselves and baby. Everything we needed was on hand; brilliant! We were lucky enough to meet the owners who were warm and friendly. Definitely a place we’d like to visit again in the future :)”
