Tropical paradise with a 1 minute walk to champagne beach. You will be staying in a locally owned bungalow in a private setting. This location is kid friendly and a retreat you can make your own. There is a restaurant and bar available 7 days a week for breakfast lunch and tea. This is the only accommodation that offers free unlimited access to champagne. We also have a new restaurant that has opened up on champagne beach in April 2019.
“Janeth and her beautiful family were nothing but welcoming to me. Janeth is so sweet and kind and you can really tell she cares about her guest. The location you cannot beat because it is literally a 5 minute walk to Champagne Beach (which as a guest at the Bungalows you do not have to pay to enter). BUT I would say the beach on the property is also stunning, doesn't have the beach front like Champagne, but you can walk out forever in crystal clear water. Have Janeth make you island food, I requested that I did not want tourist food and Janeth delivered every night. Also a lot of the ingredients come from the garden that they have on property they own. You are getting farm to table, also they raise beef cattle, pigs, and chickens on the property. If you are looking to have an authentic Vanuatu experience, I would highly recommend staying here. Note Wifi works, but coverage is not the best. So if you are not able to disconnect this might not be the place for you. I had no problem forgetting about my phone well I was here.”
Unwind and relax at these unique island style bungalows. Bamboo Bungalows are two absolute beach front bungalows situated on white sandy beaches that are fringed with palms and shady trees .The bungalows overlook the stunning Lonnoc Bay and Elephant Island. The famous Champagne Beach is only a few minutes walk!
“The beach at Lonnoc is absolutely beautiful. We had it all for ourselves for 5 days. You could hop from the balcony hammock straight into the turquoise waters to snorkel off the shore. The bungalow has a cool outdoor bathroom that you could use for rinsing. We went to the restaurant for our meals where you can have a nice dinner for under 2000 vatu. You can get a beer for 500 vatu. Daniel’s breakfasts were delicious with plenty of bread and amazing freshly picked fruit. We enjoyed a nice meal with Daniel. Daniel can also drive you around for between 4-80000 Vatu per leg of the trip. Make sure to bring plenty of cash if you don’t have a car and have lots of trips in mind. Champagne beach is just 10 min away by foot and worth the trip even though It is hard to beat Lonnoc beach. We could use the restaurant’s WiFi and plugs as the cabin only has a solar lamp and no sockets. Great place to disconnect unwind and relax.”

“To begin James, Sylvie and their children came to pick me up at the Luganville airport for my late arrival. The next day, waking beyond my expectations, the ocean under the window, an extraordinary blue. Sylvie speaks French, which has facilitated communication. A perfect stay, with a very smiling and caring staff, and delicious meals. James and Sylvie are very honest hosts, welcoming, smiling, who advise you and take you to sublime places that Santo reserves for us. Thank you for being part of a trip that is unfortunately only once in his life living 16,000kms from Vanuatu. Good luck to you and a thousand thanks.”
