“This is by far the best Airbnb we have experienced, having been to many all over the world. This is because of how surprising the experience was - picture being completely surrounded by mountains, lost in nature - inside a beautifully renovated 100+ year old house. It was a 5 star experience. NOTE: we did travel here with a stroller and three children, all under 3 incl an infant HOWEVER, it is challenging - rugged, uphill terrain (but fun!). Remember to shop for groceries prior to arrival (you are at lest 45 mins door to door from the closest grocery in the town that you have to drive to). If you want to dine at the hotel, it is a 10 minute walk and you must make reservations at least the morning of or day before. Bring flashlights. And there is very limited wifi access (which is why you want to be here). Keep these things in mind and it is paradise, if you happen to be child-free and a nature lover, you will never find a better place. Highly, highly recommend this place.”
“it was a spectacular weekend. The b & b is in a perfect location, 10-15 minutes from Cervinia and 2 steps from the Valtournenche cable car. Free parking nearby and bus stop right in front as well as the supermarket and restaurants / pizzeria. Catherine was always present and kind when necessary. The b & b is very nice and cared for in every detail, complete with everything you need. It was truly a special holiday. See you soon!”
“Walter is a super owner! Even before the arrival, I clarified all the details of the arrival, explained the route of the journey in great detail. He also told all that can be seen in the district, which restaurants to go to, and according to watsapp, we were constantly interested in whether everything was ok. The house is designed for three families, if not confusing. Upon arrival, Walter presented a bottle of wine and a box of local sweets. The house is very warm, everything is done with attention to the smallest details. Kitchen equipment is all new and of good quality. There is absolutely everything for self-cooking. There is not only a kettle, but there are already two coffee makers. And capacity for boiling, who needs tea. Bed linen, towels, crystal clear. The water in the shower is always hot. Parking place under the roof. To Cervinia, 20 km, a little less than 30 minutes, drove 7 days, not stress in general. I advise you to rent a car, and preferably on winter tires. I did not insist on rolling on winter tires, a couple of days there were snowfalls, dressed chains. Although the bus stop is 300 meters from the house, the car is more convenient and faster. In general, the apartment is highly recommended! Walter, thank you so much for organizing our holiday in the Valley of Aosta!”
