“The reception of Emmanuel is excellent! The vintage and modern interior at the same time as well as the bucolic outside allowed me to rest and to leave the recharged batteries although being in professional displacement. In addition, nothing is missing in Falaise. Nearby by car, there are supermarkets and convenience stores. The most interesting places and cultures are not far either. I wish everyone to come to this beautiful place !!”

“There is no need to crisscross the Normandy cape, stop at Martine and Claude for an enchanted parenthesis where it will seem very sweet to wander in a garden at Monet: calm and quiet that will barely disturb ducklings and chickens racies ... because our guests love animals in complete freedom. In this box of discreet elegance and so good taste, two diamonds not lonely: Claude and Martine: warm and solar that a thousand lives had to shape so that they reflect as much light as they dispense with generosity. You understand it, it is jewels that a few days are enough to constitute you in treasures of spirit and holidays oh so successful!”

“The host, chateau, grounds, and experience for our 5 day stay were wonderful. Our host was lovely - responsive, very kind, and welcoming. The chateau is grand, historic (dates back to 17th and 18th century), and spacious, with a stylish and warm décor. After a week in Paris, we enjoyed the beautiful grounds with roaming cows and sheep. We had intended to eat out every evening, but after checking into the chateau we changed our mind. Our host helped us find a convenient grocery store and 3 of the 5 nights we ate in and enjoyed the beautiful dining area. We made crepes and omelets for breakfast. We also had fun playing cards in the living room in the evenings after touring Mont St. Michel, D-Day beaches or Bayeux Tapestry during the day. Caen, Bayeux, D-Day beaches, Mont St. Michel are all 30 to 90 minute drives, so we did day trips and still were home in time to enjoy the chateau. The drives are beautiful - rolling hills, cows, horses, and quaint old villages. Our group consisted of 2 parents, 5 college age young adults, and 1 15 year old boy. Everyone in the group loved the host and accommodations. There are also 5 to 7 bathrooms (I lost count) - plenty for us. I highly recommend. 2 things to be aware of: 1) The bedrooms are on the 2nd and 3d floors - so if you have a person in your group who has trouble with stairs, may be a challenge. This was not relevant for us. 2) You need a car (training is not a good option in Normandy in general).”
