The name of the house, La Quercia del Saggio (the Oak of the Sage), has also a nice story: The house has been occupied until Mid 80's by an old countryman who maintained a 19th century life style. For this reason the national tv (RAI) produced, few years ago, a reportage showing the last example of peasant tradition, the everyday life of a "sage" (wise man), who was living in touch with the nature, according to archaic and genuine traditions.
