West Melton Village Guest Suite Close to Airport

Our house is set back from the road and is a warm, private and comfortable home. The house is fully heated, or cooled, by the ducted heat-pump system complimented by the fireplace in the winter. We have plenty of off street parking for either a Car, Camper Van or House Bus. Guests have access throughout the house to the Kitchen, Lounge, Family and Dinning Rooms, as well as outside on the patios. We enjoy meeting people of all walks of life, and look forward to making new friends. The home is close to the airport and Christchurch city but far enough out to avoid the noise and traffic. The local shopping centre has a Supermarket, Restaurants, a French Bakery, Pharmacy and much else. Several wineries are also nearby. We have 2 small, friendly dogs (non shedding!). A Yorkshire Terrier and a Sydney Silky.

The villa is located on a 5 acre property. It has outstanding Mountain Views and its close proximity to the Township and the famous surf location of Mangamanu only a 5 minute drive away makes it peaceful escape location. We enjoy this location so much that we live on the premises in a closed off section of the villa.

It has a queen and single bedroom ( with two single beds ) and a bright kitchenette, dining, living space with couch and freeview tv. It is fully self contained and has its own entrance but is attached to the main house where the hosts live. The kitchenette has a microwave and small appliances for basic cooking/reheating but is not suitable for every night cooking as there is no ventilation for strong odours.
