The cottage is located only 30 minutes from Asheville with its world-class restaurants, entertainment and the famous Biltmore Estate.

Less than 1 mile to Great Smoky Mtns. Nat. Park, across the river from Vee Hollow Bike Trails. River access on the property (the steps to the river may be difficult for some.) Need more room? Looking for an affordable mountain getaway to do a little fishing, relaxing, or just need a break from your hectic everyday life?  Want something comfortable and unique!?  This creek side Cottage is an open loft 2 bedroom home on the creek with a 3 person hammock,hot tub, firepit and charcoal parkside grill. It was built in the early 60's and has had a big transformation! While keeping its unique charm. I love saving and restoring older places and this was a fun project!

Welcome to Blackberry Cottage! Our quaint, imperfect Farm Cottage was built in 1928 and much of it was updated in the spring of 2020. Come relax in the heated/cooled Cottage and enjoy the beautiful scenery and splendor that the Mountains of Western NC has to offer. Take day trips and visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Waynesville, Canton, and Asheville then settle back into one of our cozy beds back at Blackberry Cottage... And don’t forget to visit the goats!!
