Built in 2019, Knockmore's Lakeside 1 offers clean, modern appeal in an airy, open concept layout. So popular was Lakeside 1, in 2024, we openeded Lakeside 2, almost identical and about 100 feet away from its sister cabin, it, too, offers a wonderful covered porch overlooking the Bra d'Or lakes. MacLeod Cove is a 3-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. It typically has good cell phone coverage and we have wifi. Beautiful, rustic cabin sits cozily surrounded by woodlands. This one room retreat boasts a south west vista of the Bras d'Or Lake, includes a veranda with gorgeous sunsets, king size bed and access to the beach. It is half way between Baddeck and Sydney and a perfect spot for anyone travelling the Cabot Trail. Firewood provided for fire pit if the burn ban is not in effect. Kayaks are available to use at your own risk, with life jackets, and if you are experienced in paddling.
