The "Sunshine Cabin" enjoys ample natural sun year around from its lofty position up in the trees. The large picture window overlooking Big Lake provides a birds eye view (partial view) of both the canopy and lake. This 81’ deep lake has an island and home to many types of fish that's why we brought fishing/recreational kayaks for our guests. The boat launch access is just 1.6 miles from the sunshine cabin. The cabin is secluded on 1.45 acres of trees. The place has 18 stairs to the 2nd floor.

The strategically placed windows provide stunning views of the surrounding forest and encourage natural airflow. In my opinion there is not many places that surpass this idyllic location.

Fresh remodel - May 2025! Welcome to Cottage 7 on Heart Lake. This has 1 bed/1 bath accommodating up to 2 guests. The cottage includes a full kitchen stocked with all cookware, silverware, and dining utensils. In the summer guests will have access to shared kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, water trampoline, swim platform, and bonfire pit. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature.
