The luxury bits: French linen bedding, robes, soft towels & toiletries, woodburner, a good book, no street lights..You might just sleep better than you have in years. The rustic bits: There's hot water & a large sink in the bathroom- & kitchen- & a hot outdoor shower at the back of the cabin running off gas & hose, which according to the reviews, is rather a favourite! This lovely self contained wooden chalet (The Roadhouse) is set in a quiet rural location near Bovey Tracey with stunning views over the fields to Dartmoor. Surrounded by 100 acres of nature reserve, home to many rare species, a walkers/nature lovers paradise with many birds, butterflies and dragonflies. There are some excellent pubs nearby, Exeter is only 20 minutes, 10 miles to the coast and close to Dartmoor, Ashburton and Newton Abbot. The heating is a woodburner. Very cosy.
