On the property, there is a separate sauna with shower and toilet. In the area, there are several beaches, barbecue areas and nice forest trails. In winter, there are ski trails on the lake and an ice hole for winter swimming. An idyllic place only about a 10-minute drive from Umeå.

Outside, "Villa Greta" is an additional space for a rainy summer day. It is good to note that there is a distance to the grocery store, but the kitchen is functional. You may be surprised at how good the rural landscape is!

Norrbacken is an idyllic hill with small farms, forest paths and little traffic. Our accommodation is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers and families. We welcome guests from all over the world and can communicate in English if needed.

A cosy little stockhouse_the archipelago of Vöyri

Over 100 years old stockhouse in a little village in the archipelago of Maxmo in Vöyri. The atmosphere is calm and quiet in the village. The place is 10 km from the local center and 40 km from the city center of Vaasa, the capital of the Pohjanmaa/Österbotten county. The region is about 50:50 bilingual finnish-swedish speaking, but the archipelago is nearly 100 % Swedish speaking. Many people speak both languages. English is a common foreign language. You get by with english very well.
