Our vacation apartment THE APARTMENT Without Benedikt Kappenstein, Hof Erlenbruch would not exist in its current form. The guest room in the old haystack was awakened from its slumber and, after more than a year of renovation, was transformed by hand into a vacation home/apartment. The character of the old haystack was partially retained. Thus a piece of luxury was created in the Wildenburger Land on Hof Erlenbruch away from the urban hustle and bustle. The only people who live on Hof Erlenbruch are Benedikt Kappenstein, who manages the farm, his life partner Michael Noiron and their son. There are no cars around the farm and no traffic noise, as the access road ends in the courtyard. There is no Internet connection, as this cannot be provided by the providers and even cell phone reception is not possible on every corner. There is no everyday stress and no noise here. Here you only hear the rustling and cracking of the trees when the wind blows and the occasional howling of a fox. Here you can determine your daily rhythm in harmony with nature. Simply let yourself be carried away into the boundless forest landscapes of mountain and valley of the Wildenburger Land and discover our historic landscapes. Enjoy the tranquility and comfort of our apartment, which invites you to relax. The nearest neighbors are about 800 meters away, here you will experience pure secluded idyll! And if you should be drawn to more populated areas, you can cycle directly out of the courtyard exit and reach the nearest main road after just 2.6 km. A unique mixture of rustic farm and classics in a modern style await our guests in our newly designed apartment. An impressive mix with stylish interiors, modern design and traditional materials, which Benedikt Kappenstein and Michael Noiron have adapted to the style. A copper-colored bathtub next to the Jailhouse Bed by Noodles Noodles on the gallery, cozy wooden elements, fireplace and a completely new interior ensure the perfect feel-good atmosphere. Through the large windows you have a view of the surrounding landscape and our alpacas. The bathroom was also completely renovated in 2017 and remains true to the style of the apartment with a mixture of classics and wooden elements. A small kitchenette allows you to cater for yourself if you do not want to visit one of the culinary restaurants in the area. BOOKING You have the option to book the apartment for two or a maximum of four people. On the gallery there is a bed for two people. Below is the distinctive Moule sofa, with a transformation comfort with rotating seats and flexible backrests, which can not only be used as a seat and relaxation furniture, but can also be transformed into a comfortable double bed in a few simple steps.

Your holiday starts right away in the new, stylishly and comfortably furnished apartment. Located in a quiet residential area, right by the Rothaarsteig, you can set off on hiking and cycling tours straight away. The apartment has one bedroom, guest rooms for two more guests, a large bathroom with a bathtub, a guest toilet with a shower, a living/dining room (with a wood-burning stove) and a southwest-facing balcony. You can barbecue and enjoy the sun on the large southeast terrace. The kitchen is comfortably furnished.

In our cabin, surrounded by nature, you will find everything you need for a true getaway. In addition to an open-plan living and sleeping area with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen, there is a separate bathroom with a shower and toilet. A small terrace with furniture and space for a fitness mat, in front of it a campfire area for cozy evenings. A lot of love has gone into the details: from the ceramics and the books to the fireplace, to the high-quality duvets and pillows that ensure a restful night's sleep.

Vacation home in the natural region of Sieg for 1 to 6 people

Last weekend in September and 1 weekend in October 2026 bookable again. Superhost for 42 consecutive months! Beautiful cottage in the Sieg in Windeck natural region. On foot about 3 minutes from the Sieg/Auen. A train station is a 10-minute walk away (RE to Cologne/Aachen and Cologne S-Bahn). Shopping/restaurants are about a 10-minute walk. Accessible entrance, living-dining area, fireplace, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Outdoor area: terrace, garden, barbecue 2 car parking spaces, max. 2 dogs are welcome.

Close to nature in a beautiful house with garden / 10 beds

The old house is located in a small village on the edge of the Bergisches Land, a stone's throw from the Westerwald. The house has been renovated in recent years, only the facade is still missing. There are six rooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen, a living room in the attic and a large property (about 2,000 m²). The cottage is quietly located on the outskirts of a 300-person village, there is no thoroughfare, the main sounds are the occasional bleating of the neighbor's sheep.

Dog-friendly home. ENTIRE HOUSE: If you'd like to book the entire house, no problem. Only possible with a booking of 9 or more guests. CORONA UPDATE: To limit risks of transmission, I have moved to an apartment in the cellar. The kitchen and dining/living rooms may be used at any time. These former "communal areas" are now private during your stay - just for you. 4 bedrooms (each sleeps up to 3 people, more if you don't mind being a bit squeezed) and 2 full baths.

Nestled in nature, in an idyllic forest edge location with breathtaking lake views, this chalet allows you to escape everyday life. Hike in the forest or by the lake and enjoy a bike ride with our e-bikes. When it's cool, warm up in the sauna or heated pool before settling in with a glass of red wine by the fireplace. In the warm season, enjoy a swim in the pool or in the crystal clear lake (SUP/kayak are also available) before watching the stars in the evening.

Circus wagon on the sheep pasture

Surrounded by trusting sheep, our circus wagon stands under a roof of maple trees. An exceptional place to stay with panoramic views for 1–2 adults. Sheep cuddling included! If you want to hike, cycle or slow down, you are in the right place in Windecker Ländchen. The circus trailer is located on a separate property behind our house on our sheep pasture. Private access & parking available. Every 30 minutes S-Bahn connection to Cologne (1 hour to the Koelnmesse).

Vacation home in a quiet location.

The cottage is about 3 km from the center of Morsbach. It is nice and quiet and offers everything to relax. Whether in the hot tub, playing billiards, barbecuing on the balcony or by the fireplace. In the lower part of the house there is a bar in the outdoor area. There are also a variety of hiking trails. Shopping and various restaurants are available in Morsbach. As well as a large park with playground. Low-riding cars should be careful.

Our 120 square meter holiday home in the beautiful Oberbergisches can accommodate up to six people in three bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and oven, open dining area/conservatory with great garden views. Living room with comfortable couch and TV, bathroom with shower and bathtub. On the upper floor, there are two of the three bedrooms and a guest toilet with sink. Especially suitable for families. Highchair available.

Our house is on the edge of the village, surrounded by old trees with a large garden. It is only 45 minutes away from Cologne. It offers enchanting, stylishly furnished rooms, wonderful niches and retreats. You can linger and relax in the garden and in the forest. We are surrounded by wonderful nature and enchanting villages. Our house is also ideal for day workshops and offsite meetings. Projector, screen and flipchart are available.
