The Castanian Cottage is a Scandanavian style cottage which was built in 1972. The owners of the property lived in the Cottage while building ‘The Castanian’ which was one of the grand manors in Cooma. The country estate sprawls over 27 acres. The property overlooks the Cooma golf course. Castanian offers 180-degree views to the snow-capped mountains of the Alpine areas, and also the Brindabella Mountains. Stay at the historic Squatters Arms in Bunyan - just 10 minutes from Cooma and close to the Snowy Mountains. Originally built in 1841 as a Cobb & Co Coach inn, this site once welcomed travellers and stagecoaches. Today, you can stay in the inn’s old kitchen, complete with its original flagstone floors.
