Welcome to the historical Perth area. We hope you will enjoy your stay at our rural setting, close to amenities but surrounded by the sounds of the countryside. Our house has all the comforts of home with beautiful open vistas visible out each window. This property was deeded to the Motherwell family following the War of 1812, staying in their family name 100 years. The interior of the house is fully renovated with some exterior projects ongoing. This is a totally private, self contained apartment with full kitchen. The house is a heritage property in historic Perth, Ontario. It's location is steps from the downtown area and the beautiful Stewart Park. The kitchen is brand new as are the 2 queen size beds. The apartment is air conditioned, has wifi and cable tv with (Netflix etc). You will have the entire upstairs apartment with private entrance. Indoor parking for one vehicle is included. Very cozy and quiet.

Nesled among the white pines, this cozy 3 bdrm cottage is just steps from the UNESCO World Heritage Rideau Canal. Excellent swimming, fishing, paddling, cycling and hiking. A 2-3 min walk to the water and to the general store, Brown's Marina, Lockmaster Museum, the Cataraqui Trail, Dorothy's Lodge and the Opinicon Resort. Your host also operates Rideau Tours and offers bike, kayak, canoe and stand-up paddleboard rentals onsite.
