Country house idyll in the immediate vicinity of the city. In a 300-year-old Bernese farmhouse, we have set up a guest room with an extra dose of charm for you. The modern room has a separate entrance via the old arbor staircase - you should be good on foot. A 160 cm solid wood bed and a comfortable sofa bed offer you a restful sleep - baby bed on request. Direct access to your own modern toilet with shower. No kitchen. We are also happy to try to meet special requests.

Gadestatt is a traditional Maiensäss. A Maiensäss is a cultural peculiarity of Swiss history. These simple but beautiful wooden buildings used to be inhabited on the Alps during the summer. We rent our very small studio (13 sqm) with private entrance for one or two persons. WE DO NOT PROVIDE BREAKFAST. The bed (140 x 200 cm) can be converted into a sofa with one handle in no time. Wi-Fi, a writing space, a TV and a patio seating area are available. A private shower/toilet, linens with terry cloths, hair dryer and hair shampoo are available. There is a simple and well-equipped kitchen with fridge, kettle and coffee maker available.
