This beautiful and newly renovated apartment is located in the middle of the Thuringian Forest in Suhl-Mäbendorf with a parking space on the property. Large cottage garden for shared use. The Haseltal cycle path leads directly past the property. The ski and hiking areas in the Thuringian Forest (Oberhof with international sports facilities and Schmiedefeld) are easily accessible by car in 20-30 minutes as well as by public transport. Meiningen, Erfurt, Weimar or Coburg are also worth a visit and are easily accessible.

Hello dear guests, The apartment is on the ground floor and connected via an internal staircase to the 1st floor in the beautiful Rhönblick district of Bettenhausen. You have privacy with two fully equipped apartments with towels and sanitary supplies. There is also a large garden and parking in front of the house. The two kitchens are additionally equipped with the basic spices as well as sugar, vinegar and oil, coffee, tea and a regional wellness drink. We look forward to your stay

Modern holiday home in the heart of the Grabfeld

After I inherited the farm from my grandfather, one thing was clear to me, "this farm is not for sale." Thus, together with my parents, I completely renovated the farm and created a modern furnished vacation home. In his honor, it has become "DER HENKELHOF," where we would like to extend a warm welcome to you. By "we" I mean my parents Heri & Ilona and me. Guest house on the Schleusehof... enjoy nature!

Our guest house (about 89 m) is located on our mini-farm, which we run as a hobby. The Schleusehof is idyllically located on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house sleeps 4 people (2 adults + 2 children). On request, we also have a baby cot for the little ones. The farm offers space to romp and relax. The moated castle is located on the outskirts of Irmelshausen, a typical Franconian village with church, half-timbered houses in the Rhön-Grabfeld eco-model region. The apartments are located in Irmelshausen Castle, a particularly historical ambience. In the castle park you can relax and enjoy the tranquility. Children can use the playhouse, sandbox, nest swing or slagline and trampoline to romp, the adults read a book on the daybeds.

This lovingly furnished vacation home was newly built in 2023 and impresses with its unique location and its unobstructed view on a plateau right on the edge of the forest. It is an ideal starting point for hiking/cycling tours in the Thuringian Forest and is ideally suited for couples, friends and families. The spacious property offers enough space. In the house, all 3 bedrooms are furnished in pine wood.
